The Sharp-tailed Snake Recovery Team is working on habitat restoration and assessment of federal properties within the snake’s range in search of new populations. Brochures on this species have been developed and presentations given to local groups. The sharp-tailed snake is associated with Garry oak ecosystems. Partners include local conservation groups.
