Fire & Stand Dynamics Steering Committee

This committee examines the role of fire in plant community structure, stand dynamics, and restoration of historical stand structures in Garry oak and associated ecosystems. There is a large amount of interest and research in this field, both locally and in the United States. The committee re-formed in late 2009, and work is underway. New members are most welcome.
