Come learn about current research & restoration in Garry Oak ecosystems
The 10th Garry Oak Ecosystems Recovery Team Seminar Series is a full-day series of talks, posters, and moderated discussions.
It used to be called the GOERT Research Colloquium, but no matter what name you give it, the GOERT Seminar Series is THE place to network, collaborate, conspire, be inspired, and enquire about research and restoration in Garry Oak and associated ecosystems in BC. This event brings together conservation organizations, researchers, community groups, local government, and other experts to discuss current research and restoration in the remaining fragments of these sensitive ecosystems.
Please join us after the seminars for a networking session with a cash bar, become a member and stay for the GOERT Society Annual General Meeting.
When: November 15th, 2013, 9 – 4:30 (GOERT Society AGM to follow)
Where: University of Victoria, Victoria BC (Cadboro Commons)
