Our recovery program builds upon many years of dedicated effort on the part of individuals and agencies, and partnerships continue to provide the foundation of our work. About 100 individuals are now directly involved in the Recovery Team, and dozens of government and non-government agencies are contributing time, money, and other resources to the recovery effort.

To be effective in conserving and restoring Garry oak ecosystems throughout their range in Canada, we need to work with people in their communities. Chances are, we are working with your local land trust or conservancy, municipal and regional government, and naturalist group.
